Add to Cart: Fall 2021 Makeup in my cart

Starbucks released their pumpkin cream cold brew last week- so in my book, that means it’s officially Fall.

I know, probably too soon for all of you summer lovers, but I am always so excited for fall. It’s probably the upstate new yorker in me.

Fall is my favorite season not just because of the fashion, but also the makeup.

I love the switch up from glowy, dewy, and bronzed looks to more matte, dark, and fresh-faced looks. However, one makeup trend I’ll be bringing into Fall is soap brows.

The Fall pushes me to try new makeup and switch up my look as the weather gets cooler.

I may not be experiencing Fall temperature’s here in Texas yet, but I am ready to start preparing for the season.

Here are all the Fall makeup items I’m adding to my cart:

Berry Lips:

Probably the makeup item I love most for Fall this year is a berry lip. But, not the classic Fall 2016 matte lips we are used to seeing. I am loving a glossy finish berry lip. One that stands out, but has a more “natural” feel to it because of the finish.

Flushed cheeks:

Going along with the berry lips, I love love love a mauve or berry cheek for Fall. I feel like this shade range gives you a natural cheek that doesn’t look too overdone or “peachy”. It also pairs nicely with a more intense lip.

Terracotta eyes:

I’m adding more terracotta eyeshadows to my cart this fall because I think orange-toned eye looks will be huge this season. They have shown up in past seasons but I think they will be even bigger this autumn. My go-to palette for this look will be the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Palette.

Cool contour:

One way I like to change up my look for Fall is to change out my more oranged toned, glowy bronzer for a cooler shade to contour. I love to have a more sculpted look for Fall.

Rose gold highlight:

A rose gold highlight I think will look beautiful for Fall. It will add a warm glow to the skin, almost giving it a lit from within look. I love highlighters but sometimes in the Fall, I feel like it can be too much if used with a bold lip. So, a rose gold highlight should be a happy medium.
