One of the best things about Summer is the simplicity that comes with doing your makeup.
Once it gets hot out… the last thing anyone wants to do is cake on tons of makeup and do full on glam.
Most of the time I love to just add a tinted SPF, brows, some mascara and an easy Summer lip.

For today’s blog post, I am going to dive into the easiest Summer lip combination you’ll ever try. This lip combo makes your lips look full, plump and extra glossy… who doesn’t want that?
This lip combination only requires two products, and they are probably two products you already have or have something super similar to.
My Summer Lip Combination
I use the Milani Lip liner in the color Nude. It is the perfect pink nude color for my lips.
If you have read any of my blogs, then you probably know I love love love the Laneige lip sleeping mask.
It’s the best lip product I have ever purchased.
I not only use it at night for extra hydration, but I use it throughout the day as a lip gloss because it is thick and stays on your lips for longer than a typical lip gloss.
Step One: Over Line Your Lips
I think this step is crucial if you want the look of super full lips.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with naturally full lips so overlining my lips was the perfect solution. Now, the key is to not overline your WHOLE lip, only certain areas.
Overline the base of your bottom lip and your cupid’s bow.
To start, I outline my natural lip from the corners of my mouth to just before the base of my lip and again from the corners to before my cupids bow.
Then, the area not lined yet, I add the overline of the lips.
Step Two: Blend
Now that the lip liner is on…
Use your finger to lightly blend the lip liner.
This method reduces the harshness of the line, but keeps your lips looking defined and full.
Step Three: Gloss
The last step is the most simple!
Just add your favorite gloss on top of your lips.
Your gloss can be clear, or colored, that’s up to you. I prefer clear gloss because I find the lip liner adds enough color for my liking, especially in the Summer.
That’s it! So simple and pretty, right?
