It’s FRIDAY!! Can I get a whoop whoop?
Let me just say…
Thank goodness — it has been one of those long weeks.
In just one short week (I can hardly believe it!) Matt and I will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, and with that comes a whole lot of home decor shopping.
Since COVID has impacted our ability to go into many stores to shop right now, we have been doing a whole lot of home decor shopping online. Which hasn’t been ideal…
But, there are so many good finds right now, and I’m loving the vibe that our whole apartment is going to have! (Don’t worry: plenty of home decor content is coming)
If I were to describe my home style… I’d probably say it’s modern farmhouse.
I love adding textures, clean lines, woods, metals, and neutrals to really liven up the space. Then, I like to add a pop of darker colors like black into the space and some greenery here and there to make the place tie together.
A modern farmhouse style is perfect if you love neutrals and hints of a modern, yet rustic touch. This style makes everything so homey while still looking put together and styled.
I’ve found some great home decor pieces that are all very well priced and from stores such as Walmart, Target, H&M, and Amazon.
